The other night in the West Village, we were just hanging out at a bar before the movie, talking about what design we want for tattoo, drawing on tissues.

Sukajan Jacket
Sukajan is a jacket with Japanese motif embroideries such as dragons, eagles and tigers on it. They have a similar look as basic style of American standard Letterman jackets, but sukajans are normally made with satin fabric and reversible. So is mine!
Sukajan is originated when American Soldiers at Yokosuka Air Force Base (hence the name "Sukajan" Jan being short for jumper or jacket) ordered Japanese motif embroidery on their jackets after the World War Ⅱperiod.
I got this vintage one from 10 Ft. Single By Stella Dallas in Williamsburg.
It was a pleasure to find this kind of interesting jacket in New York.

KNITTING Under The Williamsburg Bridge
We run into this interesting something under the Williamsburg Bridge. As I look closer, all the colors I was looking at were different colors of yarns. It looked great and fun but I had no idea what the "PLANAHEad" did mean and who did this at the moment.
Later, I went to online and found that the work was done by a knit graffiti group "KnittaPlease"
They knit all for 318 fence post and created this for the project commissioned by the North Brooklyn Public Art Coalition. I still don't know why they are saying "Plan Ahead" here but... love this work!

Glassware
One of my favorite store in New York. FISHS EDDY
I always love to own many kinds of glasses. But I've got just few pieces after I moved to New York since I left many of them in Japan and wasn't sure how long I would stay here. Now, It has been almost three years and here I am! Maybe it's time to get more of them....
